Who can participate?
Anyone who values empirical science. That's the only requirement.
When is the march?
April 22, 2017; 3 PM; City Creek Park to the Capitol.
How can I help?
If you would like to participate in planning the march, please complete the Volunteer Form and we will get in touch!
How can I donate?
Great Salt Lake Institute housed at Westminster College is accepting donations on our behalf. You can access the donation form here.
Isn't science apolitical?
Yes. The march is non-partisan, but it is absolutely intended to have an impact on policy makers.
Will the march represent diversity in science?
We have a diversity committee and a diverse steering committee that represents people of many backgrounds and identities. Science is done by POC, women, immigrants, LGBTQ, indigenous people, people of all beliefs and non-belief. We hope that this diversity is reflected in both the leadership of the march and the march itself.
Need ADA assistance for the rally?
If you are in need of ADA accommodations, please contact the Capitol Preservation Board no later than close of business on Wednesday April 19th. You can reach them directly at (801) 410-0011. If you will be marching with us, please gather at the "Don't Diss My Ability" sign at the front of the march in City Creek Park.
